Keith Olbermann who is host of MSNBC’s prime time show “Countdown” has signed a new contract for four more years as host. Keith’s contract was set to expire this March for a show he has hosted since 2003. “Countdown’s” ratings are solid with ratings last month up 85 percent over January 2006. The show over time has become more political with Keith Olbermann criticizing President Bush often in well written commentaries and also attacking Bill O’ Reilly his competition on FOX News. Keith Olbermann has become a liberal hero and he needles Bill O’ Reilly although O’ Reilly’s show still has much higher ratings. I enjoy watching Keith Olbermann and “Countdown” its always entertaining although I’m sure some people may be put off by his sarcasm.
