Last night a true television legend recorded his show for the last time as David Letterman said his final goodbyes on the Late Show on CBS. The reason why David was so good was his style from his self-deprecating humor to his laid back approach he never took himself too serious. There are too many funny moments over his long career on NBC and CBS to mention; But the most emotional had to be the first show back after the terror attacks of 9-11 and the emotion as well as anger he showed was how many of us were feeling at the time and, from a guy nearly always in control helped us get through it. David Letterman you will be missed and we wish you the best of luck in the future. [Video Courtesy of David Letterman, Worldwide Pants and CBS]
On “Jericho” tonight tensions heat up between the residents of Jericho and the neighboring town of New Bern. Several people are shot and injured when they try to steal salt from Jericho’s salt mine. Nothing worse than salt free French fries (just kidding) but it looks like Jericho is heading for an all out conflict with its neighbors. This show is one of my favorites and, was to many a surprise hit but the ratings have dropped since it returned from its break. “Jericho” is a well written drama with some good acting and i hope it gets renewed for another season although at the moment it looks like its on the bubble.
>>Tonight at 8pm on CBS
Sanjaya Malakar the controversial contestant who was the most recent one eliminated on “American Idol” makes a guest appearance on the “Late Show With David Letterman” tonight. Sanjaya who had a popular following on the show even though his singing talent was less than stellar will present the Top Ten List. Sanjaya made it all the way until the top seven finalists with not great singing but helped by people such as Howard Stern and several websites that pushed people to vote for him anyway. In the end he has properly got more exposure by not being the greatest singer and his appearance tonight on the “Late Show” i’m sure will help him.
>>Tonight at 11:35pm on CBS
On tonights new episode of “Jericho” the men return from New Bern but Eric isn’t among them. Jake fears that something has gone wrong and sets off to find out what; In the process he uncovers what their neighbors in New Bern have in store for the residents of Jericho.
>>Tonight at 8pm on CBS
Veteran reporter and political analyst Jeff Greenfield is leaving CNN to become the senior political correspondent for CBS. Starting May 1st Jeff Greenfield will begin contributing to the CBS Evening News and other programs. Jeff Greenfield is one of the smartest political as well as media analyst on television and, im sure he will be missed by CNN during its 2008 election coverage.
Last weeks episode of the “Amazing Race All Stars” was as the previews hinted a shocker as Rob and Amber were eliminated. Rob and Amber had come in first every week and were most peoples including my favorite to win. Love them or hate them Rob and Amber made the show interesting so it will be interesting to see how the show will change without them. Still on the show is Mirna who is so annoying like nails on a blackboard and I look forward to seeing her eliminated. Of the remaining teams the beauty queens are my favorite although they haven’t looked as strong as in the past. The preview clip shown after last weeks episode shows huge rats involved in this weeks episode which should be fun. >>CBS tonight at 8pm
On tonights “Jericho” help finally arrives for the residents in the form of US Marines. The residents consider what their life will be like now that law and order is restored. But judging from the preview there may be more to the US Marines than seems at first look.

Last nights “Amazing Race All Stars” had a shocking ending as Rob and Amber came in last place at the pit stop and were eliminated. Rob and Amber had come in first every week but this particular leg of the competition they messed up on the spelling off a name on a challenge and fell behind. For many Rob and Amber were the favorites to win, so now with them gone it leaves the field wide open.
>>CBS on Sundays at 8pm
Tonight on the funny new show “Rules Of Engagement,” Jennifer (Bianca Kajlich) tries to help Jeff (Patrick Warburton) by giving his sore neck a massage. The situation becomes uncomfortable and in the process upsets Audrey (Megyn Price). Also Russell played by the always funny David Spade takes Adam (Oliver Hudson) along with him to fight off a schoolyard bully; This of course is a ploy by Russell so he can get close to a teacher. The episode is called “Hard Day’s Night” and was directed by Ted Wass and written by Tom Hertz. >>Tonight at 9:30pm on CBS
One of my favorite shows “Amazing Race All Stars” is on tonight at 8pm on CBS. On tonights episode there is confusion at the Detour Challenge which could be trouble for one team when a long standing rival overtakes them. The question is also will Rob and Amber continue to dominate as they have so far in the competition.
